I served aboard a fast-attack submarine as a Torpedoman, made several deployments, earned my dolphins, and built friendships that have lasted long after leaving the boat.

Anyone who has served beneath the waves knows that submarine life is different. The long watches, tight spaces, qualifications, deployments, and the people standing beside you create a bond that's hard to explain unless you've lived it. We may joke about being bubbleheads, but being part of the Silent Service is something you carry with you for life.

SubGuy was created to celebrate that brotherhood and the pride that comes with earning your place in the submarine community. The goal is simple: create vintage-inspired apparel and gear that submariners are proud to wear — designs that feel like they belong to the people who actually served on the boats.
